Announcements, week 16

• The Holy Week begins today.
• The Chrism Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 15th at 6 pm.
• We will celebrate the Stations of the Cross in English on Wednesday at 4.30 pm.
• On the Holy Thursday we commemorate the Last Supper of the Lord and the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood. This is a feast of all priests. Holy Mass in English begins at 4 pm. The Mass in Finnish will be celebrated at 6 pm. After the Mass, there will be an all-night adoration in the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament.
• On Good Friday the Liturgy of the hours, Tenebrae, will be at 9 am. The Way of the Cross in English will begin at 11 am, and the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion will be at 12.00. The Way of the Cross in Finnish will start at 2 pm, at the same time there will be an opportunity for confessions. The liturgy in Finnish will be at 3 pm. There will also be a Good Friday service at 3 pm in the Lutheran Church in Tikkurila (address: Asematie 12a, Vantaa). Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence.
• On the Holy Saturday the Liturgy of the hours, Tenebrae, will begin at 9 am. The blessing of food in Polish will be at 12.00. There will be an opportunity for confession starting at 9 pm. The Easter Vigil and the Holy Mass will begin at 10 pm.
• On the Easter Sunday, April 20th: Masses will be held according to the usual schedule. There will be Mass in Swedish at 12.30 pm, Ukrainian Liturgy at 2 pm and Mass in Burmese at 3.30 pm. Mass in Kerava will be celebrated at 1 pm and Mass in Porvoo at 3 pm.
