Announcements, week 42

• This Sunday, October 12th, is International Caritas Sunday. Hannele Liukkonen, a social worker from Caritas Finland, will be in the parish hall to present the work of Caritas. She will be there from around 10 am. and until the end of the church coffee after the High Mass.
• All young people are welcome to join the Youth Days -event of our Diocese on 17.-19. of October. The event will take place in Hyvinkää. The purpose of the Youth Days is to meet other young catholics across Finland, have a good time together and grow in faith. The event is open for young people between 14 and 28 years old. • On Saturday, October 18th, there will be a Mass in Malayalam at 11:00 am. First Communion and Confirmation classes in English will take place from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at the Church of St. James the Apostle.
• The Church’s World Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, October 19th. The Mass in Swedish will be at 12:30 pm, and the Mass in Burmese at 2:00 pm. The Mass in Kerava will be held at the parish centre at 11:00 am, and the Mass in Porvoo at 3:00 pm.
