Come and join us in building the Alpha Course of the Catholic parishes in
Helsinki! Next Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 6:00 pm, we’ll have a kickoff
meeting with the theme “What is Alpha?” at St. Henry’s parish hall,
Pyhän Henrikin aukio 1.
We are still looking for volunteers, especially to help in the kitchen with
meals, to pray for the course, and to invite people to join. And of course,
you’re very welcome to take part in the course yourself! 😀 Here you can see

The Alpha course meetings will be held on Thursdays from October
9 to December 11, 2025 at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on the Alpha
weekend on Friday evening, November 21 and Saturday, November
22.
The Alpha course is a modern, effective tool for evangelism. It is a series of
meetings during which the basics of Christianity are explored in a free-form
manner. Each Alpha evening includes a meal, a short introduction and free
discussion in groups. The basics of Christianity are explored in a friendly,
open and relaxed environment. The course is intended primarily for
seekers and doubters, but also serves to renew and strengthen one’s own
faith and hope.
