The Catholic parishes of Helsinki are organizing an alpha course in the spring of 2025. Those interested in designing the course are invited to participate in the kick-off meeting on October 29, 2024 at 18:45 in St. Maria’s parish hall, Mäntytie 2 (Tallvägen 2). We need small group leaders, kitchen and organization hands, intercessors, as well as communication assistants.
Participation does not obligate you to become a leader, but gives you the skills to do so.

The meetings of the Alpha course will be on Thursdays, January 14 – April 3, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and on the Alpha Weekend(s) on Friday, February 28. 17-21 and Saturday 1.3. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What alpha?
The Alpha course is intended for those who are searching for the meaning of life, for those who have doubts and those who want to deepen their knowledge of Christianity. The course introduces the basics of Christianity in an open and relaxed atmosphere through introductions and group discussions. The Alpha course is an easy way to get to know Christianity, make new friends and think about the basics of life in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
