On Tuesday, March 31, the Facebook page of St Henry's, Helsinki, finally saw the light of day. The Cathedral Parish FB page is available at facebook.com/henrik.katolinen.fi. We will use the page to provide information about parish and diocesan affairs.
The Cathedral Parish website is also going to be overhauled. We will begin making use of the Facebook stream on the website to make sure those who chose not to use social media are also kept informed.
Little by little, the website project of St. Henry's Cathedral Parish is moving forward. Now we have published pages on the Rosary in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The Parish Information page answers your questions. You will find information about catechism classes, the Cathedral's history and its art and architecture as well as on how to contribute to the Church. On the Activities page you can read about some of the activities going on in the Cathedral Parish.
There are a number of photo galleries available on this site and we've now made it easier to find them by gathering them all on a single page.
Among the other galleries, you'll find one that shows what St. Henry's Cathedral looked like in the early part of the 20th century.
On this page we'll post Parish News.
