How do I find the Rectory?

The Rectory or priests' residence (pappila in Finnish, prästgård in Swedish) is located in the white building to the left of the Cathedral. Go in through the gates next to the Cathedral and you'll find a door marked with 1A and a sign in Finnish and Swedish identifying the place. Ring the bell and hope you're lucky and somebody is in, or call in advance to set up an appointment, the number is +358 (0)9-637853.

Left of the Rectory is the Parish Hall (follow the wheelchair ramp) and to the right (down some steps) you will find the Catholic Information Centre (with a 1B in the window).

If you are looking for the Ursuline Sisters, you should walk around the Cathedral and enter through the gate from Tehtaankatu (or Fabriksgatan in Swedish). If you are looking to enter the Cathedral by wheelchair or with a pram, you should also use the Tehtaankatu entry, so to find the Ursulines, you can follow the wheelchair signs.

The priests live in the white building to the left of the Cathedral. Further left is the Parish Hall and to the right you will find the Catholic Information Centre.
