St Henry's begins using Google calendar

Saint Henry's Cathedral Parish has started using a Google calendar.

We foresee some teething problems as we get used to updating the calendar, but you will already find the Mass schedule for the next few weeks in the calendar on henrik.katolinen.fi/calendar

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ has written a Year-of-Faith reflection on life everlasting, there is an article about Mission Sunday being a celebration and there are notices about upcoming activities...

A different take on the Cathedral

A kind stranger sent this lovely pic to the webmaster. It was taken from the roof of the building behind Saint Henry's Church at Tehtaankatu 4, giving a bird's eye view of St. Henry's.

New Catholic website being created

Last year's Diocesan Forum brings forth a new fruit: a new Finnish Catholic Website is being created at http://katolinen.net.

The plan is to make sure that information about what is going on in the Catholic parishes of Finland is published on Katolinen.net. Click on the site pic to take a look.

Benefit sale's second leg on October 13

On October 13, the second in a series of benefit sales is arranged in St. Henry's Parish Hall to sell the contents of a home. Joseph El-Khouri willed the contents of his home to be sold to benefit the Cathedral Parish and on Sunday, October 13, his washing machine will be among the items to be sold.
