Little by little, the website project of St. Henry's Cathedral Parish is moving forward. Now we have published pages on the Rosary in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The Parish Information page answers your questions. You will find information about catechism classes, the Cathedral's history and its art and architecture as well as on how to contribute to the Church. On the Activities page you can read about some of the activities going on in the Cathedral Parish.
On Monday, June 3rd 2013, the Finnish Broadcasting Company's Swedish-language TV channel Yle FEM aired a segment on First Communion in their children's programme BUU-klubben. The footage for Min högtid: Första kommunion (or roughly My celebration: First Communion) was shot at St. Henry's Cathedral Parish in the spring of 2012.

On a very sunny first Sunday of June, St. Henry's Cathedral Parish celebrated Corpus Christi with a procession after the High Mass. Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ carried the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance under a baldachin along Tehtaankatu, down Raatimiehenkatu (pictured) and back towards the Cathedral along Puistokatu. The procession was followed by a Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.
