No 9.30 Mass at St Henry's on Corpus Christi Sunday

Please note that on Corpus Christi Sunday, June 23rd, there is no Mass in English at 9.30 a.m. at St Henry's Cathedral. The High Mass at 11 a.m. ends with a Eucharistic Procession to mark Corpus Christi. After the Mass, there is coffee in the Parish Hall.

The parish summer programme is available in the calendar and in the latest issue of Fides magazine.

Please note that on May 27th, Bishop Teemu Sippo celebrates 40 years as a priest. That day is a Saturday and the celebrations begin with a festive Mass at 10 o'clock at St John's Church (Johanneksen kirkko) a few blocks from St Henry's Cathedral. Welcome!

Farewell Mass for Fr Tri

On Sunday, January 29, Father Nguyen Toan Tri will celebrate his farewell Mass at St Henry's Cathedral, as Bishop Teemu Sippo SCI has appointed him Director of the Diocesan Centre Stella Maris. After the High Mass at 11 there will be a party for Father Tri in the Parish Hall, as we wish to thank him for his service to the parish.

Father Tri will continue to be responsible for the pastoral care of the Vietnamese in the Diocese of Helsinki, but he will be living at Stella Maris in Lohja.

Last year Fr Tri celebrated ten years as a priest and there was an interview in Fides.
