Lectors' Workshop on November 19

A fourth workshop for Lectors (Readers) will be arranged at Saint Henry's Cathedral Parish in November. The Workshop will take place in the Cathedral from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 19.

The first Lectors' Workshop held in 2014 was considered extremely beneficial by those who attended and it has since become a recurring form of training for those involved in or interested in this Ministry. The workshops are intended for newcomers as well as those who attended earlier workshops. Participants from other Catholic parishes in Finland are also welcome!

First Communion and Confirmation Classes in English

As before, Saint Henry's Cathedral Parish offers classes preparing children for First Communion and for Confirmation in English in cooperation with St Mary's Parish. The classes are held at the English School at Mäntytie 14.

The classes preparing for First Communion begin at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. September 17. The classes preparing for Confirmation begin at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. September 24. Classes end at 1.30 p.m.

Youth Festival at Stella Maris in July

From Thursday, July 7, through Sunday, July 10, a Catholic Youth Festival will be held at the diocesan centre of Stella Maris in Lohja. A map and the programme for the festival is available here. Further information is available in English and in Finnish on the Stella Maris site.

Another workshop for Lectors (Readers) will be arranged at Saint Henry's Cathedral Parish in November. The Workshop, which takes place partly in the Cathedral and partly in the Cabinet, will be arranged from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 21.
